Keeper House, Co Tipperary

‘Keeper House’ is an elegant and simple pavilion with two houses, a sample of beauty of simplicity and luxurious new build in the Mulcair Valley, Co Tipperary.

The main house, hidden behind its protective wall, includes a smaller residence within decreed distance of each other but remaining separate. Keeper House is 70% glass and has beautiful views towards Keeper Hill, from which it gets its name. The architects designed the house to respect this amazing environment and influenced by Japanese style, the building is fixed over the ground without affecting too much the landscape.

Delap & Waller completed the mechanical and electrical building services design for these innovative bespoke houses and tailored a design to the specific needs of our clients. The under floor heating is supplied with an air to water mono-block heat pump with remote smart controls. All the Renewable Part L requirements are satisfied with the heat pump, achieving an A3 BER. Both houses have proven very efficient and are proven and tested in the heating seasons to date.
