Combining Bloomfield Care Centre, Kylemore Clinic, and the Jewish Home of Ireland, the first phase of this facility was opened in January 2005 with the second phase completed in Spring 2009. The Care Centre is managed under the Quaker Community of Ireland.
The Care Centre in collaboration with the HSE, Trinity College Dublin, Tallaght Hospital & St. James’s Hospital provides care for patients, as well as education, research and training for the families and professionals working with the elderly.
The Centre comprises of over 200 beds with accommodation suitable for both full nursing care and independent living.
The building extends over 3 levels, including car parking facilities.
Service works include heating, ventilation, electrical distribution systems, a micro CHP, rainwater harvesting and low energy lighting systems.
