Ballydowd Special Care Unit is a healthcare facility which provides a high level of safety and security for residents. The facility comprises 3 No. residential buildings, administration building, education building and recreation building.

Delap & Waller were appointed as the M&E Design Engineers on the project. The project scope was to include for the upgrade of M&E services associated with these buildings. Particular attention was given to achieving flush and secret fixings throughout all Units to adhere to the anti-ligature requirements of the project.
