Throughout its 103 years existence, Delap & Waller has always placed a great emphasis on developing young engineers. While we pride ourselves on our highly experienced staff, we greatly value the input and contribution of young employees in our organisation.
From day one, our graduates are involved with work on a number of challenging and exciting projects from concept stage, through design and to construction. Young engineers are given the opportunity to work closely with the client, the design team and the contractor.
Delap & Waller takes young engineers career development seriously. We provide a structured environment for young engineers to work toward achieving Chartered Engineer Status. We provide a dedicated mentor, who has successfully obtained Chartered Status, to guide and support young engineers through the process, and we facilitate regular CPD training throughout our offices.
We offer a range of internships ranging from one-week internships for secondary school students, to full-time summer positions for college students and full-year internships for who need to complete work experience as part of their college course. All of our internship positions offer an opportunity to learn firsthand about the firm, and the larger mechanical and electrical building services industry.
